Jacob's Reward Fiber Farm Podcast

Thanks for stopping by the Farm! These pods are a little long in the tooth, but we hope you'll enjoy them. And, we haven't given up hope of firing up new casts in the near future.

Jun 23, 2009

I'm joined by my right hand farm-hand, daughter Emma, as we discuss muddy alpacas, dog beds, beaded suri yarn, local farmers, and a teen blog.

Sounds like lots of fun things are happening around there! Please tell Emma thank you for washing Dewey off after he decided to roll his wet body in the dirt! I can hardly wait to get my boys over to my place so I can watch them roam around. We\'re crazy busy putting all the pieces together to get fences built and a good cool place set up for the rabbits before we make the big animal and human transition. We don\'t need much in the house, but the animals must have top rate accommodations! Enjoyed the podcast!!

P.S. We ate from the garden last night. I cut long thick slices of fresh yellow squash and eggplant, and fresh onion slices, and \"fried\" them in a little olive oil on the griddle (no batter). We piled them on a bun with some red pepper strips and added cheese. Ken chose Muenster and I chose Blue (organically grown, although not local). It was delish! I think the people behind \"Food Inc.\" would approve!
